A razor-thin α-disk glowing near the Eddington limit around a Kerr black hole. The approaching (blue-hot) side is relativistically beamed while the receding side dims — obvious when edge-on — and the far side of the disk is gravitationally lensed into an arch above the horizon. The dashed ISCO ring shrinks as spin rises (9 → 2.3 r_g).
